The rules for using gBandit

These terms apply whenever you use gBandit: to build games, to host them, to play them or through the CLI. By using gBandit you agree to them. Last updated 6 October 2026.

Who we are

gBandit is operated from Sweden. Questions go to hector@gbandit.com, reports of abuse or illegal content to abuse@gbandit.com. These terms cover gbandit.com, platform.gbandit.com, auth.gbandit.com, games.gbandit.com, docs.gbandit.com, the gbandit CLI and the hosting of games on gbandit subdomains. How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.

Who can use gBandit

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need the permission of a parent or guardian. If you use gBandit on behalf of a company or another organisation, you accept these terms for it.

Your account

Playing a game or deploying from the CLI without signing in creates a guest account. A guest lives only in the browser or CLI that created it, and if that session is lost we cannot get the account back. Sign in with Google to keep it.

You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by CLI sessions you approve and agents you give access to. Only approve a login or claim link that you started yourself: approving one that someone sent you gives them your account. Don't create extra accounts to get around a limit.

Free, and still in beta

gBandit is free right now, and it is still being built. Features, limits and APIs can change or disappear, and the service can be unavailable. There is no uptime guarantee. We set limits on the number of projects, the weekly AI budget, compute, storage and builds, and we can change them. We can also slow down, put to sleep or stop a project that uses an unreasonable share of resources, even within those limits. If we introduce paid plans they will come with their own terms, and nothing you use today becomes paid unless you choose it.

Other services

Parts of gBandit rely on other companies' services, such as Google for sign-in, OpenRouter and the model providers for the AI assistant, and GitHub or another Git host if you link a repository. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for them.

Your content

The code, assets and data you put on gBandit, and what your game creates, stay yours. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, free licence to store, copy, build, run, serve and display that content, only as far as we need to run gBandit for you and the people who play your game. When you publish a game, the licence also covers showing its title, cover, your username and its player counts in the games catalog and on gbandit.com. The licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies in backups until they expire and anything the law requires us to keep.

You must have the right to everything you upload, and to let us use it as described here.

Project names and the subdomains they give your games belong to gBandit. We may rename or take back one that misleads players, infringes someone's rights or isn't in use.

Projects you share

Every member of a project can change, deploy, promote and delete it, and use its AI assistant, which runs on the weekly AI budget of the person who created the project. Only add people you trust.

The AI assistant

What the assistant writes can be wrong, insecure, or similar to someone else's work. Check it before you rely on it. You are responsible for what you deploy, whether you wrote it or an agent did. We claim no rights to what the assistant writes for you. Your messages and project files are sent to OpenRouter and the model provider you pick, as described in the privacy policy.

Games you host

Your game runs on a gbandit subdomain, but you are the one offering it. You are responsible for what it does, what it shows and how it treats its players. If it collects personal data, tell players what you collect and why, and follow the data protection law that applies to you, such as the GDPR in the EU. Never ask players for their gBandit or Google password, and never present your game as made or endorsed by gBandit.

What you may not do

If you find a security vulnerability, report it to hector@gbandit.com instead of using it. Testing that stays inside your own projects and doesn't affect anyone else is fine.

Reports and enforcement

Anyone can report a game or content they believe is illegal or breaks these terms to abuse@gbandit.com. Say where it is and what is wrong with it. For a copyright or trademark complaint, also say which work or mark it infringes and how we can reach you.

When something breaks these terms, or puts gBandit, its users or anyone else at risk, we can remove content, take a game out of the catalog, stop a project or suspend an account. A suspended account can't sign in, its projects stop and its games go offline, but nothing is deleted. We act without warning when we need to stop harm. When we act against your content or your account, we tell you what we did and why, unless the law or an investigation stops us, and you can contest the decision by replying to abuse@gbandit.com.

We may look at a project's code, data, logs and traffic when we need to keep gBandit secure, investigate a report or comply with the law.

Backups are not a restore service

We back up project databases and files so that we can recover the platform, not so that you can roll a project back, and there is no way to restore a deleted project. Keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose. Linking a Git repository to your project keeps your code there.

Ending

You can stop using gBandit at any time. Delete your projects from the platform, and email hector@gbandit.com to have your account deleted.

We may delete guest accounts and projects that have been inactive for a long time, after notice where we have a way to reach you. If we close gBandit or a part of it, we will try to give notice so you can move your games elsewhere.

No warranty

gBandit is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about it beyond what these terms say.

Liability

gBandit is free, so to the extent the law allows we are not liable for lost data, lost revenue or other indirect losses, or for what other users and their games do. If you use gBandit for a business and someone brings a claim against us because of your content or your game, you cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to 100 euros. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for intent or gross negligence, or takes away your rights as a consumer.

Changes

When these terms change we update them here and change the date at the top. Changes that matter for you are announced before they take effect. If you don't agree with the new terms, stop using gBandit and ask us to delete your account.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Swedish law, and disputes are settled by Swedish courts. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and you can take a dispute to the courts there.

The rest

If a part of these terms turns out to be invalid, the rest still applies. We may transfer these terms to a company that takes over gBandit. If you send us feedback or ideas, we can use them without owing you anything.
